And once the year is complete, a physical planner becomes an artifact - a time capsule, if you will - of that calendar year’s happenings. There is plenty of research that shows how actually writing down your to-do list and schedule for the day - rather than typing it out on a laptop or iPhone - makes you feel more engaged in the task at hand. And if you really like quotes, you can add them.Instead of an app or gadget that claims to jump-start your productivity, consider investing in a good paper planner. Just felt like this was a forum that I could geek out about it a bit since I’m pretty dang excited!ĮTA: you can also upload your contacts and calendars so that it’s all printed for you, if that’s a thing you’re into. So yeah, that’s my spiel! I’m not affiliated w the company or anything and there’s not a referral discount, btw. It has room for me to decorate it and fill it with my own style without being dull on its own.

It’s clean, modern, and simple while still having robust planning/organization layouts. I also really, really like the aesthetics. Something that helps me get more done while also being a thing I do, if that makes sense. I want something that’s somewhere in between a weekly planner, a diary, meal planning/fitness tracker, and a fun art project that ends up being a representation of what I was doing at this time in my life. I’m not someone with a ton of meetings and I’m not a student, so my needs aren’t really what a lot of people would necessarily use a planner for. It’s just the right amount of customization for me.

I don’t find the options to be so numerous they’re overwhelming. I also like that you can arrange the pages to suit your own needs so it flows however you like, to a point. Down to the detail of being able to have the planner start whenever you want it to (and no, not just blank pages where you have to manually add the dates when you get it), every page is up to you, and the layout options they offer are just excellent for me. Ok, so why do I like golden coil over some of the other big names I saw around here/the web?įor one, there’s no wasted space. Yeah, the mobile site is definitely really annoying! It looks AMAZING on desktop, obviously, but it also really helps to just flip your phone horizontally. If you come across a user that appears to be spam please report it otherwise, as long as the link is to something relevant and useful content it'll be cool. : Quite a few people around here seem to like posting links to reviews they've written on their sites, and most people don't seem to mind. These guidelines aren't here to discourage posting by professionals rather to help avoid possible spam which might not be pleasant for the community at large.
